# is specific to cmake on centos6/rhel6. If you run into this issue, you can
# safely run the below to resolve the issue.
#sed -i '116,117 s/^/#/' ../CMakeLists.txt

mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS=OFF ..
make
sudo make install

RHEL7/CentOS7

3a) Install RHEL7 or CentOS 7.

We use CentOS 7 minimal. CentOS 7 Download

3b) Install basic dependencies.

sudo yum install -y gcc gcc-c++ libstdc++-devel boost-devel cmake git wget openssl-libs openssl-devel cyrus-sasl-devel cyrus-sasl-lib

RHEL6/CentOS6 (6.5) - Legacy support

3a) Install RHEL6 or CentOS 6.

We use CentOS 6 minimal. CentOS 6 Download

3b) Install basic dependencies.

sudo yum install -y gcc gcc-c++ libstdc++-devel boost-devel boost-static cmake git wget  openssl-libs openssl-devel cyrus-sasl-devel cyrus-sasl-devel cyrus-sasl-lib

Compiling Source (All Platforms)

IMPORTANT

Make sure you have installed librdkafka development and runtime libs as mentioned under all platforms above.

4) Do the following:

git clone https://github.com/OpenBMP/openbmp.git
cd openbmp
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX:PATH=/usr ../
make
